Consumer Legal Remedies Act - (CLRA)

     This part of the Civil Code protects consumers against unfair and deceptive acts and practices.  It was enacted to make it simpler for consumers to prove up frauds perpetrated against them.  It gets rid of the requirement to show "intent" to defraud, allows the introduction of evidence of bad acts from beyond the four corners of any documents and also calls for the wrong doer to pay your attorney's fees if you are victorious in your litigation.
